Fayose Bans Public Processions In Ekiti



The Ekiti State government has banned all public processions by students in the state.

This is according to a statement by the Special Assistant to the state Governor on Public Communications and new media, Lere Olayinka.

The Ayo Fayose administration says it has information that some student cultists were planning to embark on a public procession in the state on July the 7th.

It urges security operatives to be on red alert in Ikere, Ijero,  Oye and other towns with high student population.

The Ekiti State government also mandates security agents to conduct stop and search operation on vehicles within the state.
